In fileZilla click on Edit->Connection->Select Active Transfer Mode ( or reverse the setting if already it is active to passive ) and try once.
Please note that the Connection option location may be different, depending on version. Also in rare cases only do you need to change the connection mode. Default connection mode is passive and works very well. The above details is just for information.
If you still have problems, try changing the ftp client software to CoreFtp Lite (Click here to download coreftp) Also make sure that local firewall on your computer is not causing this ftp problem. Try disabling firewall temporarily to test ftp.
